Tristan has spent 10 years developing carbon reduction and energy performance contracting programmes, by supporting public sector and government organisations in their delivery. As Programme Manager, he has managed teams to achieve over-target EU KPI targets, both for the Mayor of London and Welsh Government Re:fit Programmes. During this time, this teamwork has yielded carbon and energy savings investments of over £120m. Tristan was involved in the development of the Re:fit process and documents, its business development and individually supported over 40 public sector clients with full project-cycle, framework, technical, procurement and contract support. The organisations he directly supported span Local Authorities, Central Government, Higher and Further Education, NHS, schools, the SME sector, Arts, Heritage and Culture.
Tristan is a Certified Energy Manager, Civil Engineer and Project Manager, and has over 12-years’ experience in construction project and programme management across the UK and US. He has worked for large international contractors and Project Management firms. His Civil Engineering work involved working on the Jubilee River flood alleviation scheme, the Birmingham Bullring enabling works and other residential and headquarter projects. Tristan’s construction project management experience across the US East Coast, England and Scotland has been across a broad spectrum of high-value projects including, an airport arrivals lounge, an Naval nuclear submarine facility, Oil & Gas corporate headquarters and testing facility, a Manhattan communications hub, new town plans, a $10bn US schools programme, corporate office fit-outs for investment banks, data centres, retail, residential and a hotel. Throughout this career, Tristan had managed large multi-discipline professional and contractor teams.
Tristan has managed his own consulting company for over 10 years. He has trained in many areas over his career, including Site Management Safety Training Scheme & Building Site Manager Accreditations, BRE Certified Commercial Energy Assessor, Investor Confidence Project (ICP) Quality Assurance Assessor, UK Association of Energy Engineers Certified Energy Manager, Measurement & Verification (M&V) Level 2 and the UK Government’s Five Case Model Better Business Cases Foundation.
