
Mike Williams
Programme Director - WGES; Air Quality
Mike is Programme Director leading Local Partnerships’ Welsh Government Energy Service team supporting the delivery of green energy projects across the public sector in Wales. He also leads our Air Quality team, supporting Defra and DfT’s Joint Air Quality Unit with their ambitious programme to reduce air pollution in 33 major towns and cities across England.
The majority of Mike’s career has been spent in field of environmental management and he has significant experience in the commercial delivery of large, complex and capital-intensive waste, energy and environmental infrastructure projects across England and Wales. Mike has an MBA, post graduate qualifications in environmental pollution control and waste management, and is a Chartered Environmentalist. He has experience working for both the public and private sectors, in the UK and overseas.
