Mark joined Local Partnerships in 2012, supporting the Welsh Government to successfully deliver its collaborative procurement programmes for food and residual waste treatment infrastructure. Since then he helped to establish a pipeline of public sector energy efficiency and renewable energy projects in Wales to accelerate and de-risk their delivery. He is currently working on development of the Welsh Government’s waste infrastructure plan and delivery of its component projects to help Wales lead the world in recycling.
With a scientific background, Mark has over 15 years’ experience delivering energy, waste and carbon reduction projects for the public sector and prior to Local Partnerships, worked for 10 years in local authority waste management.
