Local Partnerships has been appointed as a support provider to social ventures looking to access funding from the Impact Readiness Fund. This new £1.5 million fund, managed by the Social Investment Business for the Cabinet Office, offers grants and support to social ventures to understand and improve their social impact and demonstrate improvements to investors and commissioners.
All social ventures looking to submit an application are required to work with a support provider to develop an impact readiness plan of work. As a support provider, Local Partnerships will then work with the social venture to deliver that plan within three months of submission.
Local Partnerships’ appointment is in recognition of their strong track record of working with social ventures to build capacity and performance, measuring and reporting on social impact, commercial modelling and business planning as well as their wide experience of working with ventures to identify opportunities for investment.
