Planned launches of new RE:FIT tenders
1. The government department Defra is planning to issue theirs in August
2. Sussex Partnership NHS Trust are planning to issue theirs in September
Recently launched RE:FIT tenders.
Stoke City Council issued their RE:FIT mini competition involving a number of corporate buildings and a large solar park. They are planning to select their Energy Service Company (ESCo) by end of the September to deliver this project
Successful appointments of RE:FIT Energy Service Companies ( ESCos)
Buckinghamshire County and Wycombe District Councils have appointed their ESCo, Cofley and involving 20 corporate and school buildings, with additional phases of buildings already being considered. Coventry City Council have appointed their ESCo, Bouygues to deliver their project
Both these clients are now working on the next phase of their RE:FIT projects, with the development of their ‘Investment Grade Proposals’ and the approval to the install the tailored energy efficiency solutions.
Show casing delivered RE:FIT projects, Cambridgeshire County Council
Cambridgeshire County Council are planning to show case their Milton CoE Primary and Sir Harry Smith’s Academy Trust schools at the end of September; sharing their new installed energy reducing solutions and allowing surrounding schools to hear first-hand the schools’ views about their projects. Also the council will share how some of their large academies used RE:FIT Managed Service Agreements to gain energy reductions and generation helping them to manage their energy bills .
