Income Generation 2016: Generating alternative sources of revenue

This forum is specifically designed for local government. It aims to explore innovative and alternative means for generating income within local councils.

Local Partnerships’ Simon Bandy is a keynote speaker at this event, alongside Stuart Hoggan from DCLG, Aileen Murphy from the National Audit Office and Cliff Dalton from CIPFA.

The keynote speakers will cover the following topics:

  • The role of government in helping local authorities develop new revenue streams
  • Providing financial solutions to balance local authority budgets
  • Ensuring local government delivers value for money
  • Helping local authorities develop strategies for income generation

Case studies will also be presented from local councils.
