Limited housing supply is one of the most pressing economic issues facing the UK today. If a solution is to be found, it will require some radical new thinking. The work of Local Partnerships in supporting housing delivery excellence was celebrated at the recent Housing & Finance Institute (HFi) business breakfast event with the Housing & Planning Minister, Brandon Lewis MP. The showcase event held at the City of London’s Guildhall celebrated work undertaken by Local Partnerships, Keepmoat with the Sheffield Housing Company, Legal & General’s institutional investment, Laing O’ Rourke’s advanced manufacturing and Pinnacle’s work on regeneration.
The Minister welcomed the work on the Housing Business Ready programme for Stoke-on-Trent Council, which was jointly delivered by the HFi and Local Partnerships. He congratulated Ashford Borough Council on completing a specially designed Housing Business Ready programme delivered in collaboration with the South East Local Enterprise Partnership.
