Further support for LEPS and their delivery partners

POSTED ON 28th February 2015
Local Partnerships has been supporting 11 local enterprise partnerships (LEPs) with the delivery of their local transport schemes as part of the DfT funded Transport Delivery Excellence Programme. To access this support, LEPs across the country were asked to complete a toolkit prepared by Local Partnerships.
The toolkit helped LEPs and their delivery partners assess their projects in relation to programme delivery and how they could be improved. They were also asked to identify the additional support they would require to help them deliver the improvements the toolkit helped them to identify.
The support provided by Local Partnerships to LEPs as part of this programme has spanned a range of
areas including business case development, procurement, supply chain and project and programme management.
As well as the toolkit, we are also developing a range of other tools, templates, case studies and reports to support other areas of LEP local growth programmes. These will be launched to LEPs and their delivery partners at a conference in London in early Summer (date and further details to be confirmed).
