Georgia Lewis

Project Director

Georgia joined Local Partnerships in July 2014 having trained and qualified into the Projects team at city law firm Nabarro LLP.
In private practice, Georgia specialised in advising local authorities and the private sector in a range of public private partnerships (including PFI) in the waste, education and housing/regeneration sectors; she also gained extensive experience negotiating a range of other non-standard commercial arrangements involving public bodies and particular expertise in public procurement and other matters of public law (including state aid and vires issues). Georgia continues to develop her specialism working in the public sector arena at Local Partnerships, eg ongoing review and oversight of the energy-saving Re:fit programme (framework co-owned by Local Partnerships and the Greater London Authority), carrying out savings and contract management reviews on operational PFI projects and providing advice on commercial/legal strategy and best practice across a range of sectors.
